It was suggested that to imply further limitation on the user, so they are more likely to enquire about a custom infographic, themes might be an idea. This would replace the colour and text tab on the toolbar.

I think that this is a good idea, however think that it might dissuade people from using the product. Perhaps if different subscription types were put in place, themes could be used for the ‘free’ version and colour and text as separate options for the paid version. 

consider changing ‘undo’ and ‘redo’ buttons on top toolbar. Looks too similar to ‘refresh’. use icons similar to google chrome as shown.

Initial idea for account screen and stats tab. Gives viewer overview of data created and their stats. Not necessary in terms of what is needed, but thought could be nice way of displaying their info using dataform graph style.

This was using the ease of learning test outlined by Nielsen. The user was given ards with the names of the icons on and cards with the icons on. The user then had to pair up the description with their name. They got given a time limit of two minutes to perform te test.

Feedback from candidate:

- hard to establish meaning when not in context

- account should be ‘my account’ easier to connect with icon of person

- colour looks a little bit a like ‘grid view’ icon

- logged in should be ‘log out’

- bold, italic and underline should be in same text as ‘t’ for text.

variations on ‘share’ screen when not logged in or accounts linked with social media. Prefer the second version for consistency, with greyed out box and button. Although this goes against the theory of removing aspects that don’t need to be there.

Design applied to different menu tabs. Unsure about social media tab. Tried to place ‘disconnect / relink account’ options next to different social media boxes, but wasn’t enough room. Placed them at the side instead and in the same order as they appear, but in a veritical list.

Still need to design ‘save’ tab. Was having problems with what options to offer; whole screen, current selection. Then in various formats such as jpeg, pdf, eps.

Tabbed alternative design. Fits in better with tabs used in actual program but prefer the side nav in the other version. The difference in navigation defines the program from the signup/login page, but the nav is still consistent with the icons used in the un-fixed / removable toolbar.

landing page prior to loggin in or siging up. Needs a lot of work still. Will be a one page scroll that will jump once navs clicked. Icons need creating and replacing in nav.
